Science Workshop with Jay Ryan

Jay Ryan from 'RTE Junior' also visited the senior classes. He did a Drama Workshop with 5th and 6th class and a Science Workshop with 3rd and 4th class.

Jay carried out a range of experiments with objects we all have in our homes. The children loved the different experiments and they also helped out with many of them. They did experiments to do with heat and energy, whilst also doing experiments to show how air can work and how it can be shown in different ways.

Jay also brought the children around on his hoverboard, which was made using just a leaf blower and circular piece of timber. Overall the children had a great day and really enjoyed interacting with the different experiments!
