Welcome to Ballyleague N.S., the centre of primary school learning for all our children, in the picturesque Shannon side village of Ballyleague. 

We cater for children from the age of four  upwards, in a co-educational setting. Our school is fully inclusive and we work  

collaboratively with parents, pupils, board of management and staff in a supportive encouraging environment.  We have excellent educational facilities including the latest of technology in all our classrooms, fantastic sporting amenities including basket ball court, astro turf soccer pitch, green play areas, and extensive yard area for play. 

Our school is involved in Green Schools, Active School Flag, Discover Primary Science,  European Blue Star programme, Cumann na mBunscól, Soccer, Quizes, Peace Proms, Biz-World, Aistear, wide variety of project work, arts and crafts, poetry/drama, music as well as the core curriculum subjects.  

Parents are welcome to visit, just contact us and we will be happy to meet  with you and answer any questions you might have.

Third and Fourth Class enjoyed an informative and interesting workshop with the talented poet Mary Melvin Geoghegan.
