Grandparents' Ceremony 2026
Today we celebrated Grandparents' Day, thank you to Fr Daniel for the beautiful ceremony. We also had a remembrance tree for all the Grandparents that are no longer with us. Pictured are some of our Grandparents with their grandchildren. Thank you to the Parents' Association who provided refreshments in Ballyleague Hall afterwards where the children performed 'Killeagh'. Thank you to Ms Carroll and Ms Killoran who prepared the children for this brillant performance.


First Holy Communicants
Congratulations to 2nd class pupils who made their First Holy Communion last Saturday. Thank you to Fr. Daniel and teachers Ms McGreevy and Ms Shanagher for helping the children prepare for the ceremony.


Well Done Abbie!!
Congratulations to Abbie who played at half time in the Connacht Semi Final on Sunday.


Art Therapy with Jeanne
6th class pupils enjoyed an art workshop with local artist Jeanne Reynolds this week. They created some beautiful work. Thank you Jeanne for visiting our school.


Scór Success
Congratulations to Rory from 5th for coming 3rd place for his fantastic recitation called 'Stage Fright' in the recent Scór na bPáisti competition in Elphin Community Centre. Well done Rory !!!


Writing Workshop
Juliette Saumande, children's book writer and translator visited Ballyleague N.S. Thank you Ms McGreevy for organising this workshop, it was a great success in all the classrooms.


6th Class Cake Sale
Lots of yummy cakes on sale today at the annual 6th class Cake Sale, followed by our Parents' Association Easter Raffle, congratulations to all our prize winners. Suprise visit from the Easter Bunny to Second Class.
