Congratulations to all the pupils from 1st to 6th class who have just completed seven weeks of swimming lessons in Roscommon Leisure Centre.  

Pictured are the children with their swimming certificates.   Well done all and keep practising, swimming is a wonderful skill to have!

The pupils all wore their favourite jersey on Friday 11th October for GOAL Jersey Day.  We raised 150euro. Proceeds raised from this event will support GOAL programmes worldwide.

We are learning all about the season of autumn. We visited the Sycamore Trees beside the church in Ballyleague. The leaves are turning yellow and gold and  brown and red. A  Sycamore leaf will fit in to the palm of your hand. A Sycamore leaf has 5 points on its leaves.

We explored our local area recently. On a lovely Autumn day, we walked over the bridge to the playground in Lanesborough. We noticed the boats and the fishermen down beside the marina. Junior and Senior Infants went to Glendeer Pet Farm on Friday 7th June.

We enjoyed the bus ride to Athlone.

We made a train to visit the animals in the barn

We saw a talking parrot, he said 'hello' to us.

We enjoyed feeding the animals and petting the friendly goat.  We also got to hold the King Charles puppies.
